Having spanned both banks of the Vltava River since 1357, Charles Bridge has become an inseparable part of Prague’s breathtaking panorama. Its foundation stone was laid by Emperor Charles IV himself, and despite facing numerous challenges over the centuries, the bridge still stands today. Over time, it has been adorned with numerous sculptures.
